We are leaving the day after school ends and are coming back the 19th of August. This is the only summer I will have off with DH so now is the time. We were going to do Europe but it is way too $$$$$$ now with the Euro.

We are starting in Buenos Aires and will probably stay in Argentina for about 2 weeks- bounce around then we are going to come up through Bolivia and stay there for a while and last end up in Peru where we will do the Machu Pichu trek.
This is not something I ever thought I would EVER do! But we actually know a few people who are/or have gone traveling and they say it is a real experience.

I wish I could take a trip like that- but we could never afford to do it without working, and while working- cannot take 8 weeks vacation...
Have a fabulous time! Take tons of pictures- it will def. be the trip of a lifetime!

Well I am a teacher, so I have off! And Dh is in school so this is probably the only summer we will have off together.
We are also saving every penny, and will really be 'roughing' it- staying in hostels etc.
