We made it! One Year on Saturday!

Well we won't be hearing, 'the first year is always the hardest' we did it and I can say it wasn't that hard. Me and hubby just keep getting closer and closer and I didn't think that could be possible. Well Saturday Hubby worked during the day and I ran to BJ's to pick up an anniversary cake I ordered the Wednesday before, it was a chocolate 1/4 sheet cake and I bought a wallet size photo from our wedding and they put it on the cake and it was amazing! The picture was beautiful and clear and also edible. Saturday night I made reservations to the Water's Edge in Long Island City, it is absolutely a beautiful restaurant right on the water overlooking the Manhattan skyline. The food was amazing but the only thing I did not like was how limited the menu was and it was ONLY a pre-fix, so it's diffinitely an 'occassion' place you really wouldn't go there just for a night out to dinner. We enjoyed ourselves and the really funniest part of our anniversary was that hubby and I bought each other the same EXACT anniversary card! can you imagine? of all the cards to choose from..... He also bought home a beautiful floral arrangement and he put practically every flower in season in the arrangement...beautiful. We went to my in-laws yesterday and celebrated all over again with a BBQ and another cake. It was a perfect anniversary and now we are looking forward to going on our anniversary trip to the Atlantis on the 15th! I hope everyone has the best anniversaries to come

my neighbors who 'won' our anniversary dance had been married 57 years and they said the first 50 are the hardest!! lol
