Wearing your hair extensions from wedding?

I wore beautiful hair extensions for my wedding here in NY. Bought them from Jenn the Hair Genie.. I have NO CLUE how to put them in myself without looking like a fool. I really would like to wear them again. Do you girls have any advice on how to go about this? Go to a salon? Maybe a trick to wearing them?
Any input would be so greatly appericated. TIA!!
