Wedding Cake

DH wants me to find a way to seal the wedding cake in the freezer becuase he refuses to eat it next year it it is freezer-burnt. Right now I have it in the cake box the hall put it in. Should i put it in foil or zip lock bag now that it is frozen? What did you ladies do?

I put ours in a vacuum sealed freezer bag & then put it in a tupperware container. The outside of the container is then wrapped in aluminum foil...So far no freezer burn on it!!!

Wow, thorough. I'll try the tupperwear and bag thingie but I don't have a sealer.

You don't need the sealer...Just make sure you get all the air out by squishing the bag!!!

I like that idea, Kissy!!!!! Thanks, I've got it in Tupperware now, I'll try wrapping it in tin foil too and then into a ziplock bag.

Ours is still in the box from the hall (they decorated it...love it) then we literally wrapped it in a full box of plastic wrap and a full box of aluminum foil...if there's any freezer burnt...I will be very upset!
