Wedding Gown has been dropped off to be cleaned and preserved!

I dropped my dress off last night at Bridal Elegance with Phyllis. Should have it back at the end of January sometime. YAY, I have my closet back!!!!!!!

Thanks girls. Phyllis charges around $150 for her cleaning and preserving.

my mom dropped mine off, but hasnt picked it up yet!

i know they put mine in a clear box so u can always 'see it' - did they do that with u to?

That's so great! I dropped mine off at another place in mid October and it still isnt ready yet. I miss my dress!

I finally picked my dress up today from the cleaners. Its in a nice box with a clear front, where it will probably be for the rest of my life! I kinda feel like I just wasted $200, but at the same time, I had to do it.

don't dare store it in an attic or basement!!!! it WILL be ruined. basements and attics are damp [whether your realize it or not]...i used to work in dress cleaning/preservation. the first thing we told people was: no attic, no basement. the best place is under your bed or in a closet.
