We picked up our photo album last weekend, including the albums for our Moms.
We got 3 CDs also. One had the jpg files of the pictures in our album. One had all the photos and one was a backup of all the photos.
This weekend, I took a look at the wedding album CD and was able to see all the pictures using Windows Explorer.
When I put the other CDs in my PC, Windows Explorer showed nothing!!! I sent an email to my photographer, but I was wondering...perhaps there is a software that I need to view the pictures?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

are you sure it's not a DVD? we got a dvd of all our proofs (like 1,300). if it's a DVD you should just make sure you can play them in your computer. at home I could but not at work because my work computer is an old piece of crap.

I'm not sure what the 2 CDs are....
The CD with our album pictures contained jpg files. When I opened Windows Explorer and clicked on the CD drive, all the jpg files were listed.
I saw nothing when I put the other 2 CDs into my PC. No pop-up window either.
I had assumed that the 2 CDs had jpg files also..so I could print them, if I wanted.
I'll wait to hear from the photographer.

it might be in raw that is what most prof photog's shoot in and then they convert to high res jpg's. They might of forgotten to convert them when they burned the other cd's OR they just didn't burn correctly.

I hope that you are right....
I have thoughts that they didn't copy them correctly and they deleted the master photos from their PC.....

No photographer in their right mind deletes things permanently without backing them up MANY times. (i personally have two levels of backup)
