Wedding Ring Question

Ok - we have been married a week!! (YEAH) and my DH is having wedding ring problems.

His ring fits over his knuckles but then it is loose. So hsi ring turns the wrong way all day and is uncomfortable for him. What are our options? Did anyone else have this problem? And does anyone know a good place on LI to get his ring fixed!

Is it definately not fitting right? When your hands are cold, your fingers shrink and the ring will be loose.When your hands are warm,the fingers swell and the ring fits tight.

A jeweler should be able to pu shots in the band. They are tiny bulges on the inside of the band that should stabilze it on his finger. You can bring them to the place where you got the band or probably any reputable store like fotunoffs.

If the ring barely fits over his knuckles, there really is nothing that can be done to the ring to make it smaller b/c then it wont fit over it. I think MOST men have bigger knuckles so this is a common problem.

Why is it uncomfortable if the ring turns? Its it the same on all sides?

You hit it on the head Stef - the ring is not the same on all sides. On the front there are diamonds which alway end up on the palm side. It is driving him crazy (and therefore he's driving me crazy!)

I have a similar problem with my e-ring. I asked around but there really isn't much that can be done because then you may not be able to get it over the knuckle!
