Wedding this weekend. Fashion Advice?

So, we're going to a wedding this weekend. I'm debating whether or not to wear black stockings!

I don't think you should with those shoes. its hard to tell not on you, but I invision it looking better without. If you were wearing more of a pump I think stockings would look okay, but I think it'll be too much with those shoes (very cute by the way!!).

hmmmmmm i am unsure, i saw an outfit like that in a magazine and the girl had on black stockings and it looked nice!

I know, I'm kinda torn. The whole 'mod' tights look is in but maybe more for 'going out' than a wedding look?

I hope I don't scare people with my pasty white legs!

Hmmmmmmm tough call- I think it could look GREAT with black stockings... OR reallyyy tan legs! I use Lancome self tanner on my legs and it comes out great- no streaking or anything. Maybe you are tan already though and have no need for that I am NOT tan and do neeeeed to fake tan for dresses haha
But I think that you really could go either way without a problem...

I disagree... I think black tights would look great! the dress is dressy, the shoes are funky and i think the tights would pull it together nicely!!!

when it comes to weddings I am all for very dressy looks. Tights I don't see as dressy, thats my opinion. Plus anything that resembles panty hose too personally just not a fan of. I never wear panty hose so its all about preference.

Hey Cindy...Cute dress! I say skip the stockings. I just always feel that black stockings look weird with a strapless dress (on me at least) - its very unbalanced my bare neck and arms. I would imagine you will have a shall or some sort of jacket but if you'll prob take it off to dance.

Where is the wedding...in NY?

Edit - were you considering black tights or black nylons...I am confused now.

YES you are absolutely right, something else was bothering me too and kept thinking not with that dress. A dress that is strapless and bare on top i think does go weird with stockings. Plus is that brown in the dress, i think those colors with the black stockings might not look right. Plus if the black stockings are a bit off from the black shoes, one is darker than the other then it will be too much separation caused, dont know if that makes sense

I don't watch it either and everyone always assumes I do! I guess cus i was obsessed with The OC and the new 90210 and the old one as well. LOL!
