How long did it take you to get your wedding video? Was everyone pleased with the results?

We were late handing our stuff in, due to a photo place losing our honeymoon pictures for 3 weeks!

Re: Wedding Video
3 months for us with it fully edited. We were told we had to hand in our baby pics and song selections before the wedding though. It would have only taken 2 months but it was delayed a month becuase we wanted honeymoon pictures in there.

Re: Wedding Video
I hate to say this because of the previous posts...but I got my first copy two weeks after our wedding date, then we made a few changes and the rest of the VHS copies and the DVD were all done before our one month anniversary. We used an amazing videographer whom I recomend to everyone.www.LJohnMorelli.com

Re: Wedding Video
I've been married 3 months and I still don't have mine, but I still haven't given my songs to the videographer yet so I'm not really expecting it anytime soon!I did get the unedited version when I picked up my proofs, which was about 5 weeks after the wedding.

Re: Wedding Video
You have to hound them or they may take forever getting it back to you.

Re: Wedding Video
I was supposed to get my raw footage while I was on my HM and have my notes back to him within in two weeks and my video back two weeks after that.Well, the footage was late (which I was okay with) which changed the timeline to no specific dates.
I just finsihed choosing my songs and have yet to finish my notes, so it's all my fault for the delay. And now I worry if once I send him the stuff, he will delay because I'm so late!
Oh well! If he wants the rest of his money ...

Re: Wedding Video
I've had my unedited version for 2 weeks now. and it's hysterical - we laughed for hours.. so many funny things happened that I had no idea about. It's about 3 hours long.I have to give it back tho very soon so they can do all the editing to it and make it nice w/ our baby pictures and stuff...
I'm am keeping most of what's on it, all it needs is just some fine tuning between songs..
Ask your videographer for the unedited version they should be able to give you a copy.
