Did anyone get DVDs instead of VHS tapes? I don't know whether I'm getting a fair price. I originally paid approx. $1,900 for three videos. If I get DVDs instead of videos, the price goes up by $300. Is that reasonable?
I also got 3 VHS copies and paid $200 for one DVD! A friend of mine, who got married 10 years ago, wanted to get a copy of her's made into a DVD, and her videographer wants $800 for ONE!!! So that made me feel better.

My videographer wants $450 for the first DVD and $40 for each copy. He doesn't do it himself and needs to send it out so I am assuming why it is more expensive than the quotes mentioned on this link.
I am so glad I read your e-mails. I am going to try and negotiate for a better price since mine is the highest.
My contract states 4VHS copies and the DVD is extra.
