I was really lucky my freshman year at Hofstra and met some awesome people... from that we have a group of about 10 of us who have stayed close for over 12 years now! (and also really scary that I was in college 12 years ago. ) When I met DH he had 3 friends he was really close with and we've all become one big happy family.
My friends are all awesome and were totally there for me with every part of wedding planning and my shower - luckily there were no major blowouts.

Honestly, DH is my best friend, I confide to him for almost everything. I would say my two closest friends from there are one from high school and one from college. I started leaning more on the one from college in the past few years because she is married and has a child, and I looked at her like a big sister when it came to relationship/life advice. My relationship with my best friend from high school is still the same--everytime we're together, we're complete losers .

My Best friend was my MOH, we met working at stop and shop, she actually went to highschool with chris, and what got us close was me asking questions about him! LOL
I also would concider a bunch of other people best friends as well! my co-worker who i only met 2 year ago when she started working here, its really easy to get super close with someone in that short amount of time, because she is prob the friend i spend the most time with! LOL 8 hours a day 5 days a week! LOL
and my ex's sister one of my bestests!!!!
i have 2 friends ive known since grade school, one ive known since birth! we are all still really close!
DH has a group of guys that he has known since he moved to ny...and those guys are also really good friends of mine too cuz becoming friends with them is what led me to being with DH!
and honestly tho, Chris and I are each others best friends! we were best friends before we even got together which is really nice!

My hubby is my best friend and then after him I have my friend Jeremy from college and Kerry from elementary school. They are both awesome. ETA : No they are both awesome and helpful during the wedding process...they both LOVE John so its great. We still hang out all the time.

Obviously, my best friend is DH. I think that's just supposed to be the way it is...because if you're not best friends with your husband, then can you really be friends with anyone?
My best girlfriends were two of my BMs. One of them I have been friends with since the third grade when we met in class, and the other I have been friends with since 9th grade, we also met in class. Ever since HS ended and we all went our separate ways for college (well, my oldest friend went away to school in WI, and my friend from HS went to SB with me, so we saw each other often, but after she moved to Brooklyn), we've seen each other less and less, but we still keep in touch online and see each other every so often. The wedding/being married hasn't really affected the level of seeing each other, since it's been sporadic for the past few years due to conflicting work/school schedules and location.

I have 3 BEST friends.
1. My sister. I know it sounds cheesy, but she seriously is my best friend. I tell her everything and we hang out all the time. She is the one person I always want to hang out with. I met her on the day I was born
2. Lauren. We met when we were freshmen in HS at the Broadway Mall. She asked me for my phone number and she has literally called me every single day since then. She is almost like a sister to me. We talk like 50 million times a day about nothing.
3. Jackie. We met in 5th grade playing soccer. We then went on Teen Tours together in middle school and then High School together, and then we ended up at the same college together. We were roommates in college. Now she lives across the street from me in the city. Everytime I think of important things I've done in my life, Jackie was there too.
All three of these girls were in my Bridal Party (sis was my MOH) and they were FANTASTIC throughout the whole wedding planning process. They were all so excited for me and we've remained just as close before, during and after the wedding. I feel so lucky to have such special girls in my life. I'm so sappy!

Honestly, DH is my best friend... We have been best friends since I was 15 and he was 17. We were in a big group of best friends and I was actually dating one of his friends in our group for over 2 years from when I was 16-18, but his friend treated me really bad and DH hated it and their friendship deteriorated really badly because of it. To make a really long story short, I wound up leaving my boyfriend for DH and we lost our group of friends over it...
DH has been the only one throughout all these years that NEVER abandoned me. No matter what bad choices I made that he didn't like, he stuck by me. He literally was always there for me. He has continuously pushed me to do better for myself and I've never found that in a friend before. The way I laugh with him, I don't laugh with anybody else that way... ALL we do is laugh and act stupid! lol. We've always said that we're friends before anything else, and I love that.

I have a few BFFS lol one i have known since im 6 & yes she was in my wedding party & not a thing changed between us cause we love each other & we are always genuinely happy for each other. My others are my 2 sisters & my cousin (who is like my sis) these people know everything & anything about me & i trust them with anything always!
well dh was my best friends since we were 12..so i will always say him..i really did marry my best friend
but i have a lot of verrrrrrrry good friends some i even met on this site

Me and my best friend have been friends since kindergarten, eventhough I have moved out of state and come back, we have remained friends. We even went to all the same colleges together. My other close friendsN I met on here and I talk to them everyday and hang out with like every other weekend.

My 2 BFF's I've known forever!! My friend Ali I met on the school bus going to kindergarten and my friend Krissy was Ali's next door neighbor so I met her not long after meeting Ali.
They are def my best friends but I have alot of very close friends.......some from HS and others from this site!

As Ive posted a million times on here already (sry if you've heard this story 1 million timeS), my friendship with 1 ex BM from HS went down the drain afte she ruined my shower and bach party with her coke addiction.... I believe it was 11 days left until the wedding when i booted her from my bp and the wedding as a whole...She never showed up (thank god) and has not spoken to me since
I became closer with my cousin though... We never really hung out bc she lives in jersey but we had a great time at my bach party together and really that brought us closer!

I am exceptionally blessed when it comes to my friends.
My younger sister is probably by best best friend. Besides DH she is the person who I want to spend time with the most. We've traveled the world together and just have an exceptional relationship. It's a surprise to everyone being that I'm 7 years older than her, but the age thing never seemed to make a difference (even while growing up).
I also have 3 BFFs - we've been friends since HS - so we're talking over 25 years now. We have been through every stage of life with each other, marriages, babies, divorces, loss of parents, etc.
I can't say the wedding process changed any of my relationships.

ive had the same group of bestfriends for over 20 yrs! we met very young! my college bestfriends and i still veryyy close. i have alot of great friends. my 2 'bestest' friends are my two maid of honors though.

I have to say my one BM that dropped out of the wedding was my BFF for over 18 yrs but, we no longer talk since she didnt even attend my wedding. Off to better people... I have 2 very close friends at work, 1 was supposed to be part of the wedding I also am real close with my mom and 1 of my cousins, my MOH. But I also have close friends here and there and some that I made on this site But most of all DH is my BFFL

Deacon is just my everything.....
Next to him is my mom... nobody has known me longer!! we really have been through a lot together. I am an only child and my dad passed when I was six, so it was just us for a while until she met bruce (stepdad) who passed 2 months ago...
but there is another person who is very special...My BF Terri. We have been friends sice high school.. we have definatly had ups and downs... we didn't talk for a few years.. my fault (didn't like her boyfriend at the ti me, oh yeas and I was right with good reason)... but whenever we reconnect we are just always there for each other....we have sooooo much history and she knows me too well!! better than i know myself at times!!
she was not in my wedding party... that is another story.. we have had ups and downs.. i said.... But I will always regret that she wasnt my MOH.
I also have a BF who moved away when we were young.. we keep in touch a little...
and my 2 BF's I grew up with... one passed in jan. 09. He was my first crush and at the same time like a brother to me.

Besides DH, obviously, I have 4 people I'd consider best friends. Two I met in high school (one through band and the other through art) and they will be friends for life. One is my brother's ex girlfriend, despite the age difference and the drama that ensued after their breakup, she's always been a really good friend. And the last is my older cousin. I've known her since I was born, and even though we're family, besides DH she knows me better than anyone on earth. And she gives great haircuts.
