WEDNESDAY 4/28/10 NWQOTD

Happy Humpday!

I'm super tired today - so let's talk sleep.

Do you and DH sleep all cuddled up or on opposite sides of the bed? What side of the bed do you sleep on?

We cuddle for a few mins before we fall asleep, but once I’m ready to sleep I don’t want anyone near me. When we’re laying down, DH is to my left. He gets up before me, so his side is closer to the door.

DH and I are definitely not cuddlers when we sleep. Before we fall asleep definitely but while actually sleeping, we couldn't get further apart!

We're both used to sleeping alone in a queen-sized bed. We wish we could get a king but our bedroom in the new house is TINY so it won't fit.

The funniest thing is we don't sleep on a certain side. Since we're both used to sleeping in the middle - we switch it up all the time - whatever side of the bed we fall asleep in is fine.

We cuddle when we are falling asleep.....but when we wake up we are totally on opposite sides.

If you are standing at the foot of the bed looking at the bed, i sleep on the right side.

we usually cuddle for like 5 mins before we both turn over and pass out. lol

but altho sometimes that doesnt happen as often as i would like it to so we created cuddle night...its wednesday, so we have to cuddle on wed. he tries to get out of it joking around by saying, 'bud muffin we cuddled yesterday' lol my response 'i dont care its cuddle night!' lol

I like this idea - I think DH and I need to create 'cuddle night'

We don't cuddle. I am usually in bed before DH and up before him. I sleep on the right side of the bed if you are at the foot looking toward the head of the bed.

We try to cuddle, but I can't sleep with any noise, and it's hard to sleep when he's breathing in my ear (thank goodness he doesn't snore! ). We usually switch sides on the bed every week--DH is Type 1 Diabetic and has to wear a pump, so switches sides of the bed depending on what hip his pump is on!

lol this kills me because before we lived together, we'd sleep totally tangled up when we were in my twin bed at my parents' or at his parents' house. As soon as we moved in together a year & a half ago and we got our queen bed, we'll cuddle for a few minutes and then one of us will turn over and then there's no more contact for the rest of the night. lol.

We usually don't cuddle much anymore. I wouldn't mind a nice spoon in the AM, but DH gets out of bed really early and doesn't want to cuddle with me. We cuddle more on the couch when we are watching TV than when we are in bed.

If you are facing the bed, I sleep on the left side.

I literally just LOLed at your cuddle night. You guys are so freaking cute. I think DH would laugh in my face if I suggested a cuddle night. He would be like, but we cuddle...with a half *** hug and then he'd turn over and fall asleep in 2 seconds like he always does

lol thats usually what our cuddle night consists of tho! haha very rare do i get an 'actual' cuddle night to my standards! LOL

me and Dh never cuddle. Once were in bed Im like goodnight and then roll over . If we do decide to cuddle which is rare we do it for about 1 minute and then im like ok I need to roll over....i move alot in my sleep and cant stay in one position for a long time! I sleep on the left and he sleeps on the right if your looking at the bed. I like to cuddle on the couch more

I sleep on the right side, and generally we sleep cuddled up next to each other...or in reality me practically sleeping on top of DH. Unless it's really hot in the apartment, then I sleep as far away from him as possible because he's always so hot.

We used to cuddle when we would nap on Fridays at my house before we were married, but now we pretty much get in to bed, roll over, and go to sleep. I favor falling asleep facing left, and he favors facing right, so we're butt to butt haha. So I stay on the left side of the bed and he stays on the right side so we're both facing the edges.

He usually spoons me for a bit before we go to sleep if we are going to bed at the same time. If I am in bed before he is I dont want to be touched. I also get hot when I am about to go to sleep so we sleep on separate corners of the bed and I sleep like I am in the fetal position. I also sleep on the right. Its closer to the door and I wake up before he does.

Don't touch me when I am sleeping. I don't even want to be able to feel him breath. Even on our honeymoon we would be all cuddly but when we slept, we slept on our own sides.

I am always on the right side of the bed because I fall asleep on my right side and when we would sleep on a double bed (or a twin in college) I didn't like facing him because I found it harder to breath breathing into someone. Then at the shore I was on the right so he could get up in the morning without waking me up, since the bed is against a wall. It just kind of stayed that way. We thought about changing it in our new room and King bed, because he gets up earlier, but then I go to bed later so it really doesn't matter.
