Besides your wedding, what's the best party you've ever thrown?
For me, it was our Halloween party a year before our wedding. Everyone was dressed up, it felt like there was a million people in my house and we just had sooooo much fun! Plus it was great to think that in a year we'd also be partying at the wedding!

I threw a surprise 30th bday party for my SIL...It was great. We had it at a really nice restaurant and I made the decorations. I think she was completely surprised and she loved it.

Besides the wedding and my e-paty...
My birthday parties in HS were always fabulous. They were in my parents backyard and everyone danced and partied all night long. But my HS graduation party was the best, followed closely by my college graduation party.
But my parents technically threw them, out of parties I have thrown, i haven't thrown many. I either didn't have the location or the funds. So I guess I would have to say the annual Christmas party when I lived in DC. We only had about 14 people, which was about the max we could have comfortably in my apartment, but they were always a ton of fun with so much yummy food.
Now that our house is done I hope to out do that, as soon as we have some funds.

for my 21st and 1/2 birthday! lol i threw my self a half bday party! i love bbq's but my bday is in december not exactly bbq weather. well my 21st bday was shot because my ex at the time was a loser and didnt like that i drank so i decided to throw myself a half bday to make up for missing out on my big 21!!
it was in my parents backyard! we had food galore, and ice louge with a homemaid stand that DH and I actually made with our friend jim too. Keg, and my parents have a hot tub so it was a super fun crazy night! people still talk about that party!

This is hard because no one ever comes to parties DH and I throw. There was one or two in college that were good...maybe my 21st birthday? But nothing recently...

We always throw the same party and I always seem to have fun! Whether it's my birthday party, our Christmas party, our housewarming party - though that last one had the most people so I would say that one is the best!
DH and I LOVE to throw parties. We live in a large co-op with an open floor plan so it's the perfect space for having people over.

Definitley my graduation party. I graduated from college in 2008 (yes I was a little behind) and we had it at my parents house because my house is so small. We had a DJ, lots of food and alcohol and karaoke!!! So much fun!!!

Well technically DH threw it for me, but I did a lot of the work too!
For part of my 3-day 30th bday extravaganza, on Sunday we had a BBQ at Eisenhower Park with a ton of our family and friends. We had so much food, and it was DH’s family, my family, our friends and even some of my work friends showed up.
And then we had a bunch of relay races and water balloon tosses that turned into fights. It was so much fun, it was like we were all 10 again! And made turning 30 seem much less horrible.

hmmm, so many parties to pick from! :o) i guess my fave is the one i threw for DH a few years ago - it was a combined birthday/graduation party and a total surprise! i had invited a ton of people, we had it in the back yard under a tent, etc. he had NO idea! and was so surprised! what made it even better was that he told me later that even when he was a kid, no one had ever given him a surprise party and i had no idea at the time! so that made it more special for me! :o)

I'm right there with you! Never thrown a party myself, and probably won't until we have a house.

Besides my Eparty My Wedding & all the BBQ's we have had. It had to be a simple but fun with family, my parents 40th Anniversary suprise party. We had 40 people & it was so much fun filled with laughs. We roasted them & if you know my parents there are plenty of things to roas about them. They are hilarious & in 40 years they certainly have been through alot. It was just great.
