My Dh and I have had a rough month and with all of the stresses of home ownership, and everyday life we want to have a weekend to reconnect. Any suggestions where we could go for a long weekend?

For our 1 year Anniversary we are going for a four night stay in Vermont. Lots of fireplaces, wine & great restaurants. Just really romantic and during the day we have snowboarding & tubing. Like big kids hehehe.
If Vermont is to far what about Hunter or Wyndham

Deer Hill Inn in Vermont. It is so romantic, and the food is amazing. I can't recommend it enough.

Boston Monhonk Mountain House Gurney's in Montauk if you want to stay local Weekend in Manhattan Onteora Mountain House Woodstock NY Spa at Norwich Inn - which is close to Mohegan and MGM Grand and Foxwoods, so you can go gamble and have dinners, etc. but have nice spa weekend

wow, i had no idea for you (sorry but we never go anywhere!!) , but see LOTS of great ideas!! now they have my wheels turning for our next getaway! :o) have fun whatever you decide to do!!
