Weird rash
Okay, I have this weird rash on my back. It starts right at the bottom of my neck and it's a small circle (about the size of the palm of my hand) of small bumps. It's not itchy or red but I don't want them there! I tried benadryl but that didn't do anything. It's been there for maybe 3 days? Is there anything I could put on it to try to get rid of it? I don't want to go to the doctor and pay a $25 co-pay for my stupid vanity's sake. lol! TIA ladies!

Re: Weird rash
hmm it doesnt itch and not red? I would have said fungus like ringworm or something but that usually is red and bumpy.. just try some anti-fungal cram and see if that helps

That's what I thought- so I took the benadryl and left it alone just to see if it would go away. It hasn't gotten any worse or better.. and I'm obviously wearing different clothes and have showered. lol! It's like right where my hair hit my back the other day when I wore a ponytail so I thought maybe it was my shampoo or conditioner and changed that, too!
I'll try to get the antifungal cream this weekend and if it's still there Monday then to the doctor I go!

Re: Weird rash
I would try an OTC steroid cream. It may help with the inflammation.

sounds like shingles!
Shingles typically is painful. The lesions are vesicular (blister-like) and run along a dermatome, not in a circle. Also usually unilateral, (one side of the body).
It doesn't sound like a typical shingles case from what Jill is describing, but who knows! Lol
How is it today Jill?

Re: Weird rash
Could it be a fungus rash? I think I've had what you are describing. If it is, wash well with a bar of soap and put lotion on it when you get out of the shower.Welcome New Vendors
