Well, if this isn't inspiration to get my tubes tied. . . .

The girls at my TEN YEAR OLD niece's school are telling everyone that she is PREGNANT! They swear that she told them so and she is heart broken and wants to switch schools.

Do you think I would go to jail for bashing their heads in?

That is HORRIBLE! I feel really strongly about this bullying crap in school becaause I was bullied something fierce and yes I survived just fine, but it does affect you emotionally and after seeing so many of these Columbine type massaces you would think schools would make NO BULLYING rules a bigger priority.

I know when I did my student teaching we didnt allow it in our classroom but it wasnt a schoolwide law and all of my friends are teachers and they say the same thing-its not punished as harshly as it should be ebcause its seen as 'kids will be kids.' BULLCRAP.

Her parents should definetly go talk to the principal and have the other parents called in because thats not acceptable in any form. They're 10!!!

Whats worse is if she busted them in their lying mouths she would get into trouble. Poor kid.

That's absolutely disgusting! I would definitely have her parents go to the school. THe teachers, counselors, principal, SOMEONE needs to speak to these kids to let them know that you cannot make up such evil comments about another person.

bullies suuck. They are everywhere

unfortunately things will not change, even if her parents go to the school. I say this because clearly, the girls are not being properly raised by their parents. There is some sort of discipline, structure, and RESPECT missing in those households

Kids are so mean...I go through this everyday with my 3rd graders. They think it is sooo funny!!! And then of course when someone does it back they are the first ones to run home and tell and the child who has been bullied for months, even years, is the one who gets in trouble for it!!

Her mother is talking to the Assistant Principal tomorrow AGAIN so I hope they do something about it.

However, as someone who BARELY survived many years of bullying - getting the parents involved MAY just make it worse!

I also agree sometimes getting parents involved does only make the bullying situation worser....besides talking to your niece about it theres not much you can do

I cant stand these kids that are out of control and their parents and the school do nothing !!

My daughter is overweight and on the 1st day of kindergarten a girl called her fat they were 5

then the next yr a boy kept calling all the kids in the class stupid

this makes me so sad. I feel horrible for your neice

I was bullied horribly in elementary school (and middle school, but worse in elementary school) -- it got so bad that my parents got the Principal involved. It actually got worse after that and the kids never got in trouble. The school said I was 'telling stories' and 'exaggerating' about what the other kids were doing to me.

I have so much sympathy for your poor neice -- nobody deserves that!
