Well it's gone...

and i'm surprised to find myself a little sad.

I packed up my wedding dress to mail it out to be donated today. As I was putting it in the box I started to get a little teary. (could be the hormones from this week -- sorry TMI) but I almost didn't want to send it.

I know it's going somewhere where hopefully it'll raise some $ to help some people out. I hope if anyone wears it again they make great memories in it like I did.

I think it's wonderful that you donated your gown! You should be happy that you did a good deed and will be helping someone who maybe couldn't otherwise afford a beautiful gown!

Aww I know its hard. I hate my dress and I am sure even i will be when it is all trashed after our May 3rd shoot. Its expected-its sentimental memory but now someone else can make a memory with it! Godo for you!

I donated it to Brides Against Cancer. If you do a google search it'll lead you right to the page. All you have to do is print out the donation form and mail it to them. I also sent my veil. (make sure you write in how much your donation is worth and be sure to send a self addressed stamped envelope so you can get your receipt.
