he is a union guy but sill ***?????????????? we are officially both unemployed....

DH's friend is in the union as an electrician and he gets laid off and then rehired.. Does that happen to your DH?

Colleges and universities are always looking for finance people. Here's a site that I use: http://www.higheredjobs.com/. You have to keep checking it each week, but there's a lot of great jobs on there. HTH (a little).

my hubby got laid off 4 days after i did...tuesday was his last day but he restarts a new job on tuesday bc he is union. so it's not as devastating when he gets laid off.
I am sorry to hear this, I know the situation all too well. DH is in the union as well Local 7 and it is part of the job for him. He's been laid off a few times but lucky the longest he was out was a week and a 1/2. Hopefully he gets picked up again soon. He got laid off right before Christmas and i freaked out but he was put back on a job 2 days later. I will keep my fingers crossed for you...
