We're Back (slowly updating with PICS)

Hi girls!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're finally back from Novia Scotia and Dave's best friends' wedding....

it was beautiful, lovely, picturesque and I have more photos than I will know what to do with. I quite literally have more than 850 - maybe more...

I will be on sporadically today - as i'm working from home and DEAD tired (flights were horribly delayed)...

Thank you for choosing me as NOTW and i hope to wear the crown proudly!

Yes - it was WONDERFUL, only 26 people (including the bride & groom)...

I took 1,140 pictures!!!!!!!!!

At least where we were - in Peggy's Cove - you are surrounded by fog and mist at almost ALL times.... The atmosphere is sooooooooo friendly, but not in a fake way...just genuine people caring for others. You walk into a shop to look at quilts and wind up being there for an hour - learning all about all the people that contributed to the store, etc.

It was just like being in a dream....but it also had a LOT to do with the people we were with....every night we had a bonfire and sat up and talked until 3 or 4 am...it was just special...

sounds like a storybook. i'm going to tell DH....maybe we'll look into it for our next trip. Aside from the mist, how was the weather?

ODD - they have a saying there - if you don't like the weather - wait 5 minutes and it's 100% true.

the weather was weird.... In Halifax itself - we were coolish....t-shirt & shorts and we needed a jacket....but if you were in the sun - you were okay.

In Peggy's cove - it was muggy and never really sunny...but we only wore pants/jeans at night....when we were at the fire...
