We're Newlyweds!!!

I still can't believe we're married!! At this time last week, DH and I were signing our ketubah, which meant we were married in the eyes of Jewish law before the ceremony began. It's just surreal!! We got our marriage certificate in the mail on Friday and I was bouncing off walls with excitement!!!
We're waiting until next summer to take our honeymoon because of work schedules. Teachers at work keep asking how I'm even concentrating on work, and I have no idea, but I'm just so damn happy and flying that it's like, oh, more paperwork? fine, no problem. Report cards are due Friday? Sure, no problem. Nothing's bothering me now!!! I just keep picturing DH on our wedding day and any craziness fades away. Anyone else feel like this?? I keep thinking, no wonder people take their honeymoons right away!!! You need time to soak it all in and be together!!!
Yesterday was the first day since our wedding that we actually had nothing to do, just relax on the couch and hang around the apartment. It felt amazing just to do nothing with DH, after months and months of running around! I know he needed that rest too. We're both so calm now, and in this weird way, we both feel closer to each other. Don't know if that makes sense!
DH is actually at a show today (work convention) and I'm getting some odds and ends done here, including those report cards.My kids are already calling me by my new name, but I can't legally make all the changes yet without my new social security card and new driver's license. I'm dreading the Dept of Ed and UFT paperwork that takes so long!!!
Can someone please bump any threads about Name Change and how to go about this? Thanks so much!!!
BTW, a few wedding pics are in my album. I have a bunch more from my mom, sisters, and BIL, but it's hard to upload them all (computer issues!).
