A party sounds good. I just feel it's hard to get everyone together because most of my friends spend it with their families. I want to break from what we normally do and do something new. 2yrs ago we went to a club in the city, well, BIG MISTAKE, there were so many people you could barely breathe. We had to leave. I might just try to do a party in my house being that my brother and his wife just arrived from Cuba, so that may be a good idea.

(Note: I will never go and stand for hrs and freeze to watch the ball drop...)

the one day of the year you DONT want to go to a club is NYE. Its just insane, they'll charge $50 to get in but as the night goes on many places will start charing more plus its over-rated on NYE.

2 years ago though we did this thing in the city, we bought tix ahead of time. The package was to go to this restaurant first which included the dinner, the same owners had a lounge in St. Marks, with bar area in the front then in the back was more like a lounge and wasnt as crowded as a club. So theres things like that you can do.

This year, I have no clue. We havent even discussed it.

this is something i had wanted to do and have tried the past two years but didnt work out. Dh has a house in the poconos, and wanted to do a whole weekend thing. Anybody who wants to go skiing can do that in the daytime, its just a few mins away from the house, at night go out to dinner and also check out the new casino in the poconos, and on NYE have a party at the house. Wanted to invite a few friends since theres 5 bedrooms there is room and we could make more room. But hasn't worked out yet, maybe this year lol

We throw a big themed party at our house

This year, probably lingerie or game nite or pajama night theme (last year, it was 70s theme)

Thats kind of what we do, our friends always rent this house with 8 rooms in VT and make this huge party for NYE, there's always different friends that come so we end up meeting new people, in the end it looks like the real word VT and we all have a blast!I've never been to the Poconos and want to go so bad.

DH has to work this year

Last year, my brother and his 2 roomies had an amazing party, and I went w/ my best friends (since DH was working, then, too). I am hoping he has that party again this year!

it almost worked 2 years ago but somehow didnt go through. I think it would be fun but lets see if it can ever happen haha. Its nice, i like when we go for the weekend bc its a good way to get away from the craziness and relax. I wanted to go this month, but every weekend we've had something to do. So hoping we'll get to go soon.

i have no clue, we always stay at DH's house but 3x we stayed at skytop which is AMAZING and huge, it has skiing on its property, a big lake. An inn, lodge and cabins that are big and nice, i think its over 5,000 acres the whole place, they provide a shuttle to get from one place to the other. It does get pricey though but for the holidays his whole family goes since they do alot for the holidays here

I love skytop and we've had a great time everytime we've been there. But look at their calendar online bc each week they have a different theme around the holiday season. One time we went they had santa there for the kids, and a bunch of different things. Last year when we went it was gingerbread house week. I have pics in my album from that lol

We are doing Killington. It's an annual trip, we do it every new years!! We went to Okemo 2 years ago and that is where DH proposed!!!

DH has to work again (he has worked the last 2 yrs and again this year)
So....not sure what I am doing. Last year I went out with friends from work and we had a blast. Started at my friend's house in Port Jeff and then went to some of the bars down in Port, but this year 2 out of the 4 grils I hung out with are pregnant so it doesn't look like we are going to do that again.

I have no idea!! Probably going out for dinner and then ???
One year, I went to East Wind's NYE celebration and it was so much fun. Going to a RH for NYE is expensive though!
