What are you doing for the 4th?

we might have a BBQ at a friends place but thats about it for now. Boring boring...anyone else have plans?

I'm dressing up like a mormon (well it's supposed to be 1800's style)..DH is going to look like Tom Sawyer..and we are marching in the Southampton 4th of July parade for the historical museum...feel free to come mock us!

As of right now the only plans we have are to watch the Boston Pops on chanel 2 because Rascal Flatts is going to be on.

I've done some freelance work for the museum & Dh works there part time...so they asked us to participate...i will definitely try & get some pics...they will be used to blackmail DH at a later date!

That sounds like fun!!!!! How did you get into that? What time is the parade, maybe I can get DH to take me and if we go I promise I won't make fun.

we will be at the beach! Our beach friends order lobsters every year for the 4th and have them delivered to the beach. We are both looking forward to that!

i am a work widow this wknd.

DH is working an OT shift tomorrow nite---and will work thru all day on saturday until 5 pm. i'm sure he'll come home and crash, and then he's working a 12 hr. shift on sunday.

so i'm sure i'll be 3rd wheeling it with some friends this wknd.

omg its too funny i cant wait to show pictures! i always wear floor length black gowns to wedding but since this is a 4th of july wedding i wanted something shorter

I went into Mandees and found this cute brown halter dress with a pink stripe at the bottom for $35!!!! So I bought it then I bought the red shoes that you wore for your pics in brown to match for $20!

But the funny thing is - the dress is a Juniors so it has NO buttons, zippers or ANYTHING. It fits PERFECTLY and looks great. . .BUT getting it on or off is a two man job LOL DH couldnt even do it I had to get my MOM to help so I hope she is home when I plan to leave!! I guess Juniors don't usually have boobs and a behind to worry about - it HURTS to take off!!

Aww girls Dh will eb home but when he starts working for UPS soon Godwilling, I will lose him to holidays. We never had my dad around when I was little. He works for the NYC Santiation Dept.
