What are you getting your Mom/MIL for Christmas?

We can't think of anything! FIL already got MIL a spa day so that is out the window! Any ideas?

We got MIL earings b/c she has evewrything else she could ever need and she didnt want clothes or gift cards.

When I was asking people for ideas, they mentioned a digital photo frame or a wedding album. (but mine has both)

In the past, I have gotten her jewelry, sweaters, CDs ... but we have started to give our parents joint gifts now - one for both of them - so my ILs are getting a digital frame preloaded with pics of the whole family (still trying to get some from one side, the side that always stalls ... ), an 8x10 from the wedding in a frame, and a gift certificate to restaurant.com. And we got them a few things from our HM in Alaska too so that will be shipped to FL (where they live) as well.

My parents are getting one of those printers that just print pictures and the first three seasons of MASH because they love it.

We did the digital photo frames with pics as a parent gift .
She has everything too!

Or if that is too much ... is there a show she likes on TV that you can get her on DVD? Or a box set of CDs from her favorite singer / band?

We got the ILs a breakfast gift basket from Wolfermans. They live OOT and it's just easier for us than to ship presents.

How about a 'day of beauty' gift certificate to her favorite hair salon?

I bought my mom GC to a few stores she likes. MIL we get a calender by a artist she likes and GC to go out to eat for both ILs.

Albums for all the parents
Slow cooker for my mom.
Nice potholders for his stepmom.
His mom told us no gifts but we're still getting the album.

Mom is getting a Maglio Detroit Tigers Jersey( We live in MI) and tx to the Tigers vs Yankees in April

MIL is getting PJ's, slippers, and we send a nice Christmas flower arrangment to be delivered the day before Christmas Eve; since we don't see them for Christmas. FIL is getting a Barnes and Noble Gift Card. They live an hour away, we work Christmas Eve and day, and my FIL is a Pastor so Christmas Eve and day are VERY busy for them.

Hoever, we RARELY see them so we may have dinner with them after the New Year, but even that isn't likely. They never called after the m/c and they didn't call Joe on his B-Day......they are the type that sends a check and that counts for everything. Where as we like that but a phone call would also be nice.

My SIL told us that she (MIL) wanted a specific Analon pot, so we got her that (I know boringggg...but she asked for it lol). We were also going to get her a GC for a lobster dinner but DH said that she would like it more if we took her out...so we are going to take her to Louie's in Port Washington I took DH there for his b-day and he loved it. We also bought her a box of Godivas
