since we didn't make it last week and havent had it in 2 weeks(dh likes to try and make it once a week, usually on sunday). DH is making homemade sauce with pork and sausage, and he also bought ox tails to throw in there too, he said he wants to try it out. Making it with Rigatoni pasta.
Smokey pork chops, they were delicious so we have leftovers!

sauce is the ONLY thing he makes or i should say knows how to make. He didn't know how to cook at all, once he made some things on the grill when he was younger haha. Then the first time he really cooked was last valentines day he made me dinner and that was his first time and he was so nervous. Then after we got married he said he is going to try and make sauce. SInce he didn't live at home anymore he still wanted to be able to have homemade sauce(well we go there for dinner too but still) he said he has seen his mom make it enough times that he thinks he knows how. He asked his mom for the recipe and exactly what to do and he does an amazing job its delicious. BUt anything else he doesn't know lol. I think he would be able to cook other things too but he just has to try first
I am also glad when he makes sauce bc it a day off of cooking for me lol. Plus its delicious
we're making greacian pizza...so easy, just spiniach, mozz, & feta on flatbread....stick in the oven for 15 minutes and it's done!
Im going out with the girls tonight so DH is on his own ...sorry honey!!!
DH and I are having a liquid dinner! we are going to mulchays its there 25th anniversary gonna have some drinks and than maybe after some disco fries lol

I beg DH to learn how to cook, sauce would make me happy! You can freeze it and use it for so many other things. I get home after Joe from work and by the time i stop at the grocery store, which usually I have to, and start cooking and sit down its after 8 p.m. If he could learn and maybe have it ready sometimes when I got home I would love it! I might buy him cooking for dummies for xmas...that's his gift!

Ask him one day to cook with you, he just might like it. DH actually likes when he has to make sauce. He feels proud of himself plus he likes that time in the kitchen just to himself in his own world i think hahaha. Too many times guys or i should say people in general just think they wont know how to cook and mess up so thats what stops them. If he does something one time and does it well then i think he will be more open to it.

True...i got him to do laundry and he swore he would never be able to do it. I wrote directions down tapped them to the machine, now he does the laundry and folds it!
Prob left over penne pasta with grilled chicken..
I had a chicken roll from Aldo's......DH is at the firehouse for a dinner tonight so I was on my own.
