What are your biggest LIW pet peeves?

Either way

Some of mine...

1. Posting a thread at say, 1:30 pm.
Bumping said thread at 1:32 pm, by saying 'HELLO????'

2. Posting a question-asking thread.
After getting a few meaningful replies, then bumping and saying 'Anybody else?' (As if those previous replies don't matter)

3. When people use incorrectly.
For example, 'Come see my centerpiece sample! '

some others....

* flame me.... but I seriously hate when people are irked by peoples punctuation on a forum.

* I hate when people quote and make their entire response the length of the page b/c they quoted ten people in one response.

* I hate that you can't post negative comments about vendors. (I understand why but I still hate it)

* Overuse of emoticons....drives me nutty

I can stand spelling..punctuation not so much

I may tease people about punctuation: cat, MJ, caroline, peg; but in reality, poor spelling or run on sentences drive me insane..

If your sentence is the length of a paragraph, I can almost bet it doesn't make sense anymore

'Can someone please tell me what i missed'
'I dont mean to continue to the drama but can someone just explain to me what happened'

I can't seem... or so It feelsanyway that I cannot get my point or personality across Besides I am quirky like that.

*My pet peve is the quoting several threads that I have to scroll down the page. I actually try to take out paragraphs and words before posting b/c of this.

-people that CANNOT let things go and continue to insert the same tired statement/complaint into any thread they can even if it doesn't quite fit the theme of the thread or answer the question posed.

-Posts that begin wih a subject line like' VENT!' o draw you in, and when you do get lured, yu find the words of the first thread sayign 'VENT 'OVER' before anyone else has even ;posted. OR sayin 'I have so much going on. SO MAD!' and then teOP does not elaborate.

:Hah: Guilty as charged-did tht today but I admit to bein lazy and not wanting to read everything ina drama thread if I can get highlights. Vut considering the way threads have been getting puleld lately, we probably should reinstate Kath's (Hampton's Bride) quick recaps of all the drama of action ta day.

I am guilty, I did something like this once on here .... but I had just discovered something that REALLY pissssssssed me off and made me really angry and frustrated and upset, but I couldn't post about it publicly.

A few people FMed to see if I was ok, and I did elaborate a little bit on the thread, and gave a couple of people full details of the story.

Its days like those when I wish you had to at least be a member of LIW to read the posts.

No no I do't mean like that. I mean literally NO elaboration eve after people ask you 'whats wrong?' a dozen times and the thread just dies. Its just liek HY bother then?

my biggest peeve is that I can NEVER come on anymore and I miss SOOOO much fun stuff

and as soon as I sign on everyone tells me- OH you JUST missed the best sh!t ever...

I feel like I need to be on here 24-7 to know whats goin on all the time. its definitely a sickness!!!!!!

BTBs who continually post on the NW board. That has to be EARNED.
BTBs asking for price quotes for everything. CALL the RH/Florist/Photog and get them yourself. Not everyone's is the same.

NW bashing .... by the same people who can't wait to post on the NW board

Definitely the B2Bs that post on the NW board. Especially the ones who X-Post their WR questions here, thinking they'll get answers to their questions if they post them here. NOT!!!

Bumping of old drama threads just to bash NWs.

Posters who respond to threads without reading on to see if there has been further clarification or explanation later on in the post.

Receiving FMs with questions about your review, when you answered that very question IN the review. Sometimes I wonder why I bothered posting a review?

Intentional misspellings (not typos) ... especially when the misspelling is not an abbreviation .... its the same amount of letters ... misspelling to be 'cute'!
