brunch with both our families here since DH isnt feeling up to having anything big this year

Possibly going to church in the morning. They have a big Easter service at Tilles Center and that evening, dinner at my parents house.

Usually we go to my sister's but she's in Florida so we had no plans.. and I think I made DH's Aunt feel guilty so she's making dinner for all of us now!!!

going to the folks in NHP..along with my bros...and my one bros wife & 3 kids...i also usually check out the Vintage Car show in Garden City...here's the info if anyone's interested...yes i am a 'guy'...haha...DH stays at my folks & my Dad and i usually go check out the cars...

Join the Garden City Chamber of Commerce at its spectacular Easter Vintage Car Exhibit/Parade. Car exhibit 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Parking Field 9E between 10th and 11th Sts. View the lineup of magnificent antique, vintage and classic cars. The Banjo Rascals will be at the exhibit and on 7th St. after the parade. Car parade at 1 p. m. on Franklin Ave. and 7th St. Easter bunnies with lollipops will be at the parade, courtesy of the Kiwanis Club. No rain date. Call 746-7724, ext. 101.

It's MIL's birthday so we're going out to a show and lunch.

G-d help me....I can't STAND musicals first off and she's definitely a bit delusional.

Those who celebrate Easter and are going to church....Please pray for me!

We're doing some fun easter stuff w/ my step-son (painting eggs and all that) but we make sure to explain to him what Easter is about. And since easter is about much more than the bunny , its about our awesome Savior, we want to go to the Friday and Sunday service at church to celebrate and give thanks for the sacrifice Jesus made to save us and his resurrection!! What an awesome holiday! Probably just doing a nice family dinner on Sunday as well. It will just be a nice family weekend for thanking God!

Spending it together with DH...we're still riding that wonderful NW wave where we can be completely selfish and say it is our 1st of everything and we want to celebrate it together so as to create some of our own traditions and memories...so we'll be dyeing easter eggs and I plan on having a naughty and nice easter egg hunt in the apartment.

good luck Tara!!! don't stress too much and just take it in and enjoy having your family over for a holiday in your new place & the first of many times as hubby & wife!!

we're going by the in-laws, it will be nice since we haven't been over for a big dinner since Christmas.
