freekin LIPA..... I swear the street lights must be hooked into our meter (in reality, it's probably the f'in electric waterheater.... what rocket scientist came up with an electric waterheater with a LIPA hook-up )

oh, I used to have another.... my former employer (during my post-doc) gave me a 1099 form instead of a W-2..... so I could partake in the joys of self-employment tax with quarterly payments......
THAT was soooo much fun. Even more fun is explaining to the IRS that I am NOT a fisherman, even though that's how I was declared

Our LIPA was 345 this month (for an apartment) and its usually 80+ also.
