Oh I love sloppy joes with sauteed onions and mushrooms in it! It's a comfort food! Can you make shepherd's pie? It is time consuming though and requires more stuff!

not sure if you'd be into it, but theres a greek dish called Mousaka that i love, my mom makes it too. Its kind of done the same way as lasagna but with meat and potatoes instead, the potatoes are thinly sliced and used as a layer the way you would use the pasta as a layer. There should be a recipe for it on foodnetwork.com
