We did a Friday night. Cost was one factor but the other big factor was so that our guests coming from out of town would have a full weekend to go into Manhatten and not have to go to the city then back to the island then back to the city. It worked out great.

Me too. Maybe it's because- if you get married on Friday there is really only Friday night. If you got married on Sunday there is either morning/afternoon or evening.

I got married on a Friday and we had a lot of out of town guests.....so, it didn't matter which day we were married. Plus, they did have the opportunity to do some sight seeing the rest of the weekend.

We were married on a Saturday, but we're renewing our vows and having the big reception on a Sunday.

I had a monday wedding! It was July 5th and it worked out great!

Friday night. And I loved having it at the late time too. People really seemed to enjoy it because not only were they celebrating our wedding but also celebrating the last days of summer.SO YOU KNOW WE PARTYED HARD!!!
