patken called and mine are in but we have to get them mailed to us being that we are OOT
i wanted to make a nice night of it
did anyone do anything like this or did you look at them in the photo studio like no big deal?

Nope, nothing special, I picked them up and went thru them with my photographer...then went home.

our photographer made slideshows set to music..
DH and I got a bottle of wine and watched them.

We also got our mailed because we are OOT and once we received it we just said 'Oh god' and were in shock. We had so many printed proofs we didn't know where to start. We just sat on the living room floor and went through them and catergorized them. We didn't do anything special we were just mesmorized by how nice and what great shots our photog got.

nothing special -- we just couldn't wait to go through all 1200 proofs and went through each any every photo when we got them home and remembered all the specials moments from the wedding and kinda relived it when we looked at the proofs --- we can't wait to get our Video.

i looked through them at the studio and then brought them home, bought a few albums and put them-- grouping by similar pose so i could choose the best one out of each picture

nothing,.... Patken called us, I picked them up on the way home from work.. didn't look at them... Once DH walked in the door that's all we did for the next hour

DH picked them up from Patken while i was out for a girls night, and he did glance through them. somehow we waited until until the end of the next day and looked through them together. we didn't do anything special to celebrate getting them.

nothing special- in fact when I picked them up Mike was upstate hunting, so I looked at them all by my lonesome, I put them in 2 albums I bought from Walmart and then DH finally looked at them like a week later
