What did you do with your bo-k?

Just wondering.. I don't have the $$ to send it to one of those places to get it preserved, etc - its too late for that anyhow :)

But I was wondering for those of you that just dried your bo-k's, what did you do with them? Mine is just sitting around, but i don't know how to store it, or display it somehow that I know it won't be damaged, etc..

Any help would be appreciated! Am up to giving crafts a try, although am not a very crafty girl :)

I dried my flowers and then I went to Michaels and bought a vase that is large enough for my to put the whole b0-k in. So it has a large rim if that makes sense and I have it on my coffee table.

i think mine might still be in my mom's freezer along with our cake. hmmm... i'll have to ask her about that.

I have a glass curio (is that how you spell it?) with 4 shelves. I put the flowers on the shelf (after I hung them in my room and hair sprayed them) Then I put my tiara on top of the flowers, resting. My invitation is in the back with the marriage licence and a picture of me and the DH.

Mine is still drying in my shoe closet. I'm thinking of making some satchets for my drawers, so now everything can smell fragrant.

While we were on our honeymoon I left it turned upside down in our laundry room to dry. It is now displayed in a pretty vase in my living room entertainment center surrounded with wedding pics .

Unfortunately, someone took my bouquet that night , so I never saw it again.

I'd put mine in a vase, but i'm afraid the petals would go everywhere :) But you've given me some ideas to start with. Thanks!

I think mine is hanging upside down in my mom's kitchen in NY.

Unfortunately mine is in the garbage... ...I dried it and had it on our entertainment center and when we were moving it fell on the floor and the dried flowers just crushed everywhere...

I dried mine out, but I don't love the way it turned out. Actually, I don't know what it looks like now. I packed it in a box when we moved to NJ and I haven't taken it out to see if it survived!

I threw it out the next morning. Dead dried flowers don't do it for me.

The cleaning lady threw it out while we were on our Honeymoon!!!!

I am not one for dead flowers, so I shocked everyone and threw it to the singles, there was a slight cat fight for it and it was demolished.

I didn't turn mine upside down to dry instead I left them in the empty vase...WELL...I came home from my 14 day honeymoon to MOLDY stems/ribbon. It smelled so bad and was disgusting. Needless to say..they got thrown out.

I was thinking of drying mine but didn't think my flowers would dry well anyhow ...

Unfort. my bo-k got all funky when the night of our wedding .. i think the AC was too high in the hotel room. So the next day it was sort of 'freezer burnt', if that is possible. I still couldn't part with it so I left it at home in the refrig until we got back from our HM.. at which point it looked SO bad I just threw it out.

I dried mine upside down in our old apartment, and am not too happy with the way it turned out, I wish I had the money at the time to preserve it! It was so beautiful! So, now it is in a nice box in my closet along with my tiara, a favor, a placecard frame I decorated, the guestbook & pen etc.

It is a really nice box that my mother gave to me at the shower, sorta like a hat box, but square.

Hanging upside down on the wall just saw today that there are tiny fruit flys flying around it had to take it down I don't want to throw it away.
