They remind me of HS bc I went to NYC Public Schools K-8 and never got a day
In ninth grade I actually became friends with my BFF (Im her MOH next month ) bc she was really shy so I called her and was like 'Its a snow day lets go find cute boys' So we met up and ended up hanging with all the cute boys by a hill that kids used to sleigh down This is always what snow days remind me of...I have to call her now, but shes prob at work

Last night I was in bed with DH watching News 12 and staring at the scroll on the bottom. It was at the O's Our Lady of this and that, and I was like don't change it P's are next. I was watching to see if Plainedge was closed. I remember always staring at that scroll to see if school was closed the night before, and then first thing in the morning. Do teachers get as excited now as you did when you were a kid about school closings?

I think of staying home with my sister and building huge forts in our front yard with all the neighbors (all the neighbors were boys so we were forced to play boy games growing up...hence the fort!) LOL
It was so much fun!
