What do you miss about the 08 board??

I really miss coming into work on Mondays and the first thing I would do was look at pics of the girls that got married over the weekend. It was so exciting to see everyone from the planning stages to the actual wedding pics.

What do you miss?

I miss that we always had a ton of people on the boards. Now it's so slow.

I miss that too! At times it was hard to keep up with everything that was going on!

You girls are right, no matter the time there were always a gazillion posts.

ITA and I miss looking at all the wedding pictures!!!

I joined after I got married, so I really don't miss much. I love seeing dress fittings but I can see that in the 09 and 10 boards.

Exactly what I was going to say! I miss the whole anticipation and milestones the most! the countdowns, 'double digit' remarks! I also miss all of the girls who used to be on here..its so slow on this board!

I agree, only a small percentage of the girls migrated over to NW... I guess some just took to the NW board better than others lol

exactly! i miss seeing each girls invitations and being a Mailbox Stalker (remember that?) and thinking every weekend 'oh so-n-so's getting married today'. it was just exciting to share this experience with so many people and be happy for them...and have them be happy for you.

i dont think anyone else cared more than my LIW girls about all those little details I completed for the wedding

definitely! I feel the same way. I'm so glad that my friend told me about this site because I truly do feel as though I would have missed out if I never joined. Not only for the help, but just the support in general. One of my other friends got married a month before me, but she never joined the site and I always felt bad for her. lol. I just feel like she would have had so much more fun planning if she had these awesome LIW girls to share the experience with
