what do you think dogs dream about?

just like their experiences in life, I would suppose.

My little dog is sleeping next to me on the couch and all of a sudden he started breathing so fast and heavy, and even whining a little bit. Must be having a nightmare, cause he is OUT. lol. I wonder what it is. Maybe he's getting beaten up by a CAT or somethin'

Oh, he just woke up. lol. He like jumped up and looked around completely dazed; so confused looking. Poor thing. What a cutie.

isn't it weird though? I'm so curious.

funny you should mention this! my dog was having nightmares all night long!! her paws were going crazy and she kept yelping! i felt so bad for her. dh and I was wondering what could she possible be dreaming about

OMG! i thought i was the only person that was curious about this. My dog makes weird noises in her sleep and sometimes it looks like shes running cause her legs are moving a little bit. I always think shes dreaming about being at the dog park cause thats her favorite place!

I think my dog dreams that he's running because his legs start going slighty...i usually think he's dreaming about running after the cat...LOL.

awww i know, i always feel so bad! There's actually a video on youtube of this dog dreaming and he's laying down, but running full speed! His legs just keep going back and forth and then he jumps up and barks at the wall for about a minute, and then he just snaps out of it!

OMG I totally wonder about this all the time! Oz is CONSTANTLY having crazy dreams or nightmares where his paws are flailing around and his body is moving almost like he's running. And he cries and even howls in his sleep sometimes! It bugs me out especially when it goes on for awhile! I wish I could read his mind!

Awww :0 Maybe they are having a nightmare about searching for food lol. My cats do the same thing....they quiver a little and their paws tremble I would love to know what they are dreaming about

My cat falls into deep sleeps and then twitches uncontrollably sometimes. Its so cute but she seems tormented

I would think that my doggies dream of eating and fighting or playing with one another (I have 3)

i think our dog dreams about chasing birds, bunnies, and small animals. Also about sticks (like tree sticks) he loves them. Playing tug of war. The beach. And treats. Belly rubs. The list goes on.

Shea just twitches. Sometimes he'll jerk awake, but for the most part he's out cold! He's so cute!

lol - so funny! my dogs are ALWAYS dreaming! sometimes their paws will start twitching like they're chasing something lol..or they make these funny mini-howl noises... it always makes me think of the scene in Cinderella where Bruno is dreaming
