My friend just had a baby, her name is Annabelle Grace. I think it's beautiful.

I have only thought about names for a 1st born i havent through further although i should considering triplets run in my fam ( who knows i might be the one who gets the shaft and has all 3 at one time)

but our 1st born is a boy then we will name him Alexander
and if its a girl we will name her Joanna.

well, we never picked out names for kids, but DH and I are in agreement that all names must be old-school (name that a kid could have 30 or 80 years ago and not be looked at funny), and it must be common in both germany and poland


For pets:
my adorable 9' goldfish is named Blurp. He's 7 years old

My white persian is named 'maloose'... that's a farsi nickname.... loosely translated it means 'I'm pretty and I know it!' And she DOES

I used to know and then I started teaching and some of the names I loved have been tainted

ok i don't want kids...but years ago when i did, i had picked out a girl's name....

Emily Margaret...the first names of my grandmas who i was very close to...

For a boy...i always thought of using my last name as their first name...(but again, had i wanted kids then i would've taken DH's name & it would've made sense)

Our dogs are Buddy & Belle (came up with that cause she's a rescue with an underbite who always looks disheveled..so i wanted her to have a name that meant we thought she was beautiful)

ETA: DH's family has some of the most unique names I've ever heard...Garr, Torryn & Bannon

Edit- our doggies are named Isabella Rosellini and Terror (She was Brians dog before we met- I'd NEVER name my animal Terror)

The only names we've settled on are for boys: Peter (after my dad) and Thomas (after DH's dad). We also like John (Jack would be the nickname), and William.

For girls, I Beatrice (it's also a family name), but DH doesn't care for it. I would also love to name a daughter after my grandmother who was Venetia but my sister says that the name 'belongs' to her, since it's one of her middle names. That was the source of one heck of a fight about a year ago!
