What else?

Yesterday Frankie and I went to Social Security and the DMV. We did the bank on Wed. I am going to work on Monday to change everything (health insurance, life insurance plans, etc.) He will do his on Monday also. He is going to the insurance company today to move myself and my car onto his plan.

What else am I forgetting? It almost seems to easy?

Also - any brokerage firms you may be involved with... They'll need to know ASAP. Duh - that should've been the first thing I told u since I work for one!

how about credit cards, professional organizations, homeowners/renters insurance, mortgage, and doctors? BTW, thanks for the pics, they were nice!

Over the last year we did what you did plus made our credit cards joint, got a private life insurance plan, hmmm....what else? Nothing I guess. I didn't change my name so I didn't have as much to do.

You might want to make sure your employer changes your name on your paychecks, change your name on utilities, credit cards, etc., and start thinking about a will/living will.

OK have to do passport. I changed my one Credit card over and added him (I have paid off all my credit cards HAPPY DANCE) He is going to do the same today. No mortage or lawyer-- no house yet

I have to do that with the doctors to.

I will take care of everything at work on Monday because I have to change where my direct deposit if going to!

If you are doing the bills, and if he has any credit cards or loans. Make sure he calls them up and authorizes permission for you. Not even to use, but to pay or to get info. for him.
