What happened last night. (Long w/ question)

So I have been sick since Tuesday, I have some virus, cold, flu thing. I had to work all week, could only stay home Thursday. Worked all day yesterday, and felt awful. So I decide to go with DH to vitamin shoppe in an attempt to get anything that will make me feel better. I buy this really great tea, I never used b4 for immune health. We get home I fall asleep for a bit. When I wake up I say to myself I am going to try this new tea. We have the one cup Keurig machine, so I make myself a cup of tea, and sit on the couch. It looks really dark, smells really strong, and doesn't taste all that great. So I assume like all remedies the grosser it is the better it works. I try to drink some of it, drink about half and have to dump it out. DH told me I should have drank the whole thing. I said I couldn't it tasted like old cigarette butts soaked in water. I could barely taste anything anyway. So this morning I am in bed until 11pm, my eyes hurt, my throat is on fire, and I am freezing. I call DH downstairs on my cell b/c I couldn't bring myself to yell from the bedroom. He comes up says I look awful and gives me the thermomter (sp?). I tell him my stomach feels sour, and he says well why did you drink coffee this morning then if you don't feel well. I tell him I didn't drink coffee this morning, and he says well than last night. I tell him I haven't had coffee since Monday. I have been so sick all I have been drinking is tea. I say why do you think I had coffee, he says b/c there was a Kcup left in the Keurig. Really?!?!?! So last night when I made my tea, I apparently didn't open the Keurig, and made my tea with his leftover coffee in it. I wish I took a picture of it, it was so dark, and I just thought that was how the tea was suppose to be b/c I never used it b4. I made DH swear to always to take his Kcups out. The garbage is less than a foot from the coffee machine, how can you not take the cup out and throw it away, after you make your coffee? DH thought this was so funny. I was mad. I felt sick to my stomach when I woke up this morning. So it got me thinking.




Has your DH ever done anything like this to you?

Yuck...sorry that happened to you!!!

We have a Flavia machine and it uses pods and DH leaves his coffee ones in there all the time, but it's just the pods so easy to throw out...I'm a tea totaler :) The other thing DH does all the time is leave the toilet paper holder empty-thanks DH If it wasn't for me always making sure there are two extra rolls in the bathrooms (and a box of tissues)...

DH has never done something to me like that but we have a Keurig so I feel your pain. Just dump out the stupid little cup when it's done. It's not that hot. Sorry you're still feeling like crap.

Yuck! Im sorry you're not feeling well and that he did that, even though he didnt do it on purpose. It's just one of 'those things.'

I was out on Friday night and DH was home cleaning (yes ladies, you read that correctly ). When I got home, he had randomly craved garlic bread so he made his own. Fine, whatever. Fast forward to last night, I was cooking dinner, and I wanted to make one of the Pepperidge Farm garlic breads with it. I preheated the oven. When it beeped that it was done, I went to put the bread in, and discover that DH had used the griddle on Friday night to make HIS garlic bread, and never removed the thing from the oven!! All his garlic mess was now baked on cuz I had heated the oven to 400*!!! I was ready to kill him! I told him he now gets to attempt to clean that b/c I refuse to do it
