I know money and bonds are the usual, but what else do people usually give as a gift? This is for my new niece and I'm not the godmother, my sister is. I was the godmother to my other niece (the big sister to this one). Any suggestions?

DH and I just went to a Christening last weekend of my ex coworker's baby. We gave a $50 bond, but another thing you can do is something religious, like maybe a cross on a chain, or a nice cross they can hang up in the baby's room. Or I can make the baby a cross stitch sampler... Just kidding!
