What is everyone's NYE plans?

Just wondering....We are having a small get together at a friends house and we plan on eating, watching movies, playing games and just having fun!!!! We like to be low key.

I know!! I used to think when I was single that it was because i was lonely, but then I met DH and I still cried every year!

Me too!!!! I am probably going to a friends house for a VERY small gathering (like 6 people) but I get so depressed every year! I am hopeful for 2010 but I know I will still be sad during that last hour of 2009.

We are staying in with my mom and son. Im making a whole bunch of things to pig out on and drink.

We're gonna go out to dinner in Long Island City with friends that have a (city view )apartment there-so dinner first, and then drinks and watching the ball drop in a cozy apartment.

Nice and low key! Although I've always been low key on NYE....

We always enjoy sharing NYE with family & friends. My sister & her hubby always throw a nice bash & honestly if it wasnt at my sisters house we would prob just go out fo rdinner & head home. I like to be in a house on that night.

DH surprised me with dinner at the Melting Pot! i told him we should go a while ago, and didnt think he mad reservations...but he did!!!!!!!!!
ssooo excited!
so we are just going to eat then prob go home and drink the bottle of wine we were suppose to drink on christmas eve from my wine bottle thingy from my shower! (we always forget about them! lol) so thats the plan!

We have a few choices... dinner with my parents and their neighbors and their kids or hanging out with a handful of people at my friends house or a party in Belmar, NJ. Belmar sounds the most fun, but driving to NJ again this weekend and then home in a snow storm is not appealing.

I don't know yet...NYE is DHs Birthday so I am trying to give him control but here we are on Tuesday night without a plan!

We are thinking about going to Jersey to party and stay at a hotel with the family but I dont know since I have to work New years eve and New years Day

We are going to a low key party at a friend's house. Drink wine, eat junk, and hopefully not have to clean up after my new doggie that is not fully potty trained.

We are skiing and spending New Year's Eve together at the family ski condo in North Creek, right above Lake George. We are going out for a yummy, yummy dinner at Friends Lake Inn. (a nice place a for romantic getaway too ladies!) and then we are going to see a jazz band at the local wine bar. Should be a lot of fun, just the two of us!

Cant wait!!!
