what is something you do that drives him nuts?

we always talk about what the guys do that drive us crazy or makes us mad so why not look into the mirror a bit.
I snooze like 6x before I get out of bed. Scott hated that in the beginning, but now he snoozes too
I have a different 'standard' of clean then he does and it drives him nuts that the bathroom needs to be cleaned more than once a month.
I hate clutter on the dressers. He feels that it's his dresser and he should be able to have stuff on it. I say 'put the stuff away'

- Snoozing an hour before I get up drives him batty but I cant help it, i need time to adjust :D
- Not folding my clothes out of the dryer
- Leaving the lights on

Gary hates it when I take the garbage bag out of the basket and don't replace the bag (I either do it as I am running out the door). My feeling is that he never looks at the garbage and says gee that is getting full I should take it out so the LEAST he could do is replace the bag!!!

Funny, the things you guys do to make your husbands nuts, is the stuff mine does to drive me nuts!! LOL

I'm too neurotic about the cleaning and the bathroom!! I want him to put stuff away ASAP and he wants to wait a bit (hence the shoe store that's opening in my kitchen). I don't 'relax' enough and I make too many plans!! Oh, the best one is that I can't stand the blinking lights on our phones after we've had a call -- I have to click it off and he just leaves it knowing I'm going to flip over it!!

he can't stand the smell of my salad dressing.

leave the water running while I'm doing stuff in the kitchen

put wet towels on the bed

This is almost embarassing to admit, but I lock myself in the bathroom almost every night and inspect and pick at my skin. He tells me primates do this!!!

Good thread! I hit snooze like 5 times before I get up. I also put all my stuff down on the counter when I get home. He says I make a mess and calls me 'Cyclone.'
He is very very neat.

He says I talk in my sleep. I am a cleaning freak and I think I make him nuts because he leaves papers from school all over the house.

Oh where do I begin

1) I watch too much sad tv, Lifetime, that is what he calls it

2) I am too anal

3) I leave all the lights on

4) Why I open the window when it is cold outside

5) I am critical

6) He hates it that I pick my pimples too Jen

7) I buy too many shoes..he ask how many pairs of black shoes does one woman need???

Other than that I am perfect in his eyes

lol...shamma and Jenn...but DH asks me to pick the 'pimples'/bumps on his back!!

he doesn't like that I get hair in the sink...
he doesn't like that I spill my powder in the sink in the morning (I do try to wash it down)

he doesn't like that I sometimes leave the shower in the shower mode...not bath mode...b/c then the water spurts out on top of him...


I so talk in my sleep and grind my teeth (majorly stressed...) but he says he tries to have conversations with me...

I put my pajama's under my pillow and then forget I already have a pair out, so there are pajamas (mostly t-shirts) that fall behind the bed or are randomly underneath the pillows! I recently became spastic and keep leaving the milk on the counter. I am so anal about the dog hair all over our apt! Hmm...I just do clumbsy things all the time that make him shake his head at me!

LOL Erica, thanks for reminding me... I get b*tched at for leaving hair on the bathroom floor. EXCUSE ME that every once in a which I don't have time to swiffer the floor before I leave! We can't all have a buzz cut like my well shorn hubby!

I leave my clothes in the dryer for days and then flip it on for 20 min. to get the wrinkles out!

I hate coming home to a dark house, so lights are ON!

I snooze so many times, it annoys the crap out of him too. At least for 45 min.

He can't stand how long it takes me to get comfortable in bed at night! I must take 10 minutes of tossing and pulling the covers and adjusting the pillows before I can relax..drives him nuts! then I have to pull the covers up to my neck (not matter the weather).

I think my hair is everywhere..not sure why or how this happens (I do my hair in the same place every day). This drives both of us nuts.

He hates the tv shows I watch. I am sorry that he is stuck on the news or Nick at Nite and TVLand, but I need some tv past the 70's. He has tried to brainwash me with the Beverly Hillbillies, but I have had a good resistence so far.
He thinks I am obsessed re: dirty dishes in the sink...I hate that, have to clean them right away. He can't stand that I put dinner on the table than proceed to wash a couple of the pots while the dinner is sitting there. I throw too many things away.. too much waste. Sorry, I don't want brown lettuce, if you want to eat it be my guest. Good thing he loves me

I leave all the kitchen cabinets open - every time I get a bowl, pan, fork, etc. - he HATES that!

He hates when I eat peanut butter - hates the smell
Hates when I drink coffee- another smell issue!
