Re: what is the one detail.....

thanks to my sis, I loved my table numbers and placecards!!

LOVED my headpiece and cathedral veil with custom detail!

Can you tell I love to post pics?

I also was really happy with my color scheme...loved MOH/Jr BM and FG dresses.

ETA also loved my three garters and Yankee sneakers since DH got such a kick out of them!

Oh and it's not something you can see - but this was a BIG detail...The Bob Sheppard announcements of course!!

What is it with me? I can never pick just one of anything!

Our photographer! Well, maybe not a detail per se, but she was able to capture everything so perfectly. What an amazing talent. I'm so glad we found her and that she wanted to work with us!

Re: what is the one detail.....

I cant pick just one:

1. My RB pillow was made form the lace from my mom's veil -- because I didnt wear her wedding dress, I know incorperting her dress in some way was very important to her.

2. Our table names -- we took pictures of all the places that have had some signifigance to us over the years and attached a small blurb about each place to the backs of the table names. So many people commented on how personal it was and guests actually went around the room to stop and read the ones on all the tables!

3. Family wedding pictures at the Placecard table -- our grandparents only had ONE wedding picture each....like literally, they never had albums of their weddings or anything....they each had one picture of their weddings (and these pictures were falling apart and in terrible condition). Dh and I had the pictures restored and framed. We displayed them at the wedding and then at the end of the night we gave them to each set of grandparents as a gift. His grandma cried (her husband died many years ago from cancer) and they were all so thankful. It meant a lot to us that we were able to do that.
