What is your favorite....

What is your favorite household gadget?

I was cooking last night and meant to post this then forgot.

We got some cool gadgets foir our bridal shower that I use alot, so I was curious what everyone's favorite is.

For me it's a toss up between our slip mat cooking mat (its like silicone but you can use it as a baking sheet and NOTHING burns and it doesn't burn! so cool)

and our RAbbit wine kit. WHICH I might add was 80 bucks but I paid 20 for after sales and coupons at Macy's! Its awesome. MAkes openign wine bottle ssoooo easy for cooking and they come with this cool re-stopper thing so you can seal out the air.

Anyone have any other cool household gadgets? I have a thing for house items...

I have the Rabbit wine bottle opener too!!! That thing rocks! I always had problems opening wine bottles.. but now it is so easy! I love it! That's my favorite thing besides our Kitchenaid mixer!

Yea! DH had gotten me one of the traditional cheapy ones but I could never get the sucker to get the cork out without destorying it. the Rabbit has some girth to it so I can do it alone which is the point.

I like my lingerie organizer too-got it at linens and things. Makes my drawers look like the VS ones lol.

i want one of those Rabbit openers so badly!! i just haven't been able to justify spending $80 on it yet......

we've yet to use anything from our regsitry, it's all sitting in MIL's basement. i was most excited to get our rice cooker! i love to make rice and beans, and i make the beans just fine, but always burn the rice we also got an onion chopper that i cant' wait to use - i'm a big weeper when chopping onions!

Go to MACYS girl! Wait fortheir sales. It was 50% off when I went plus you got 10 percet for using your macys card and I had a coupon. It turned out to be just a little more than the cheapest one they had! And its the set that comes with the thingy to recauum seal your wine bottles which is awesome and has the foil cutter as well.

I have NICE cookware...BUT lol we didnt pay fulll price for ANY of it. Look for Linens N Things too. Many times they will have everything Macy's does (and more!) but their everyday price is macy's sale price.

my OXO salad spinner.
Since we eat salad just about every night, this makes cleaning and storing the lettuce so easy.

I also love my LeCrueset grill/griddle. Heavy cast iron, fits over two burners. I use it a lot to cook our dinners, great because I use less fats for cooking. Also great for grilled cheese sandwiches. Haven't used the griddle side yet, maybe this weekend for pancakes.

Kitchen Aid stand mixer is another favorite. I love to bake, so this makes it a lot easier.

I LOVE my salad spinner. Most of ym good utensils are the OCO brand-pricier but they ahve such good sturdy handles. I prefer the grip on them.

l love my magic bullet

But my favorite is our cuisinart icecream maker

we got a double carafe and double brewer coffee maker. i love it when we have company. I can brew a pot of decaf and reg at the same time. ***** i guess that I hate coffee but dh loves it.
