what is your favorite party food to snack on...?

im having a halloween party and trying to gather some ideas for the party!

what is your favorite thing to snack on?

Oooh yay! We're having some people over to play board games and stuff that night and I'm planning to bake / cook / prepare a storm because... well, I'm unemployed and it's fun to cook stuff.

I'm making a pecan pie and might make another apple tart (I've been making them a lot lately). I'm also going to make s'mores brownies (basically, you make brownies and put marshmallows and graham crackers on them just as they're finishing up.

I also love making guacamole, so I'll do that for the salt-lovers.

Did I mention, right now it's only 5 of us???? I need more friends in NC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also pigs in a blanket, or chicken wings are always good as party food!

The party mix bag that includes pretzels, cheese doodles and dipsy doodles, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, those tiny bagel pizzas, guacamole with tortilla chips and beef patties.

want to know an awesome easy recipe (if you like Buffalo wings)?

-Take a cooked Rotisserie chicken from the supermarket, and tear apart all the white meat and shred it
-Mix a bottle of Buffalo wing sauce, a bottle of blue cheese dressing, and some shredded cheddar cheese, then combine the chicken meat
-bake in the oven with more cheddar on top for like 20 minutes at 350
-serve with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and Scoops chips

-Cheese, crackers and pepperoni
-Spinach dip with Pita Chips
-Veggies and Dip
-Tostitos and Salsa
-Mini Pizzas
-Velveeta Cheese Dip and Frito Scoops
(Velveeta cheese dip is made in the crock pot and you use one big block of velveeta, 1 lb. hamburger or turkey meat and 1 jar of salsa. Cut up the velveeta and put in the crock pot on high. While that is heating up brown the meat. Once the meat is done, add it to the cheese and stir. Once the cheese is melted add the jar of salsa and place the heat on low and that's it!)

ETA dessert! BJ's has awesome chocolate chip cookies! I also made the following for a party and it was a big hit!

-Pepperidge Farm Pastry Shells
-Prepared Chocolate Pudding
-Mini Marshmellows

Follow the directions on the package for the pastry shells. Then once those are cooked, if you are going to immediately served them let them cool for 5 mins before adding the pudding...if not then you can cook the pasrty shells well in advance and then put them together before you want to serve them. But fill each pastry shell about 3/4 way with pudding then add mini marshmellows on top. Stick them in the broiler for about 4 minutes or until the marshmellows are brown. (make sure the tray is about 4-6 inches away from the broiler in the oven)

This is soo yummy! but instead of blue cheese I use ranch.

It's the same recipe I use for making a chicken salad. I buy a cooked Rotisserie chicken and shred the meat. Chop some romaine lettuce, toss grape tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and corn in there. Add italian dressing. Volia. Dinner in less than 5 mins!

Get those frozen filo dough pastry cups from the super market, put a dollop of raspberry preserves with a piece of brie cheese in each and bake in the oven.... sooooooooooooo gooooooood!
