What is your greatest Memory from your wedding, that still pops into your head??
I have to say one of my greatest memories from my wedding day was in church, when the priest asked if anyone objected, I turned myself around and stared at everyone(with a smile) with my hands on my hips. Everyone had a good laugh!!I have tons more!!

I have a bunch, but one was when a good friend of mine, who read the first reading, burst into tears during the reading! Later on she told me that when she saw me walking down the aisle, she just lost it. And then shortly after, she had to get up to do her reading. It was so funny though watching her try to get through the reading because she kept looking over at me and DH and mouthing the words 'I'm so sorry!'

The fact that my mom got to be there. It was the last day I ever saw her so I hold those memories very close. Also seeing my DH at the front of the isle with tears streaming down his face when I came in.
I could name a million of them

That my grandmother and my uncle (my dad's twin) were able to celebrate my day before they passed away

Re: What is your greatest Memory from your wedding, that still pops into your head??
We were waiting for my MOH to return from having her hair/make-up done--for some reason she was the last to get done--and I was trying to stall with putting on my dress so that we could get picture of her helping me. In the end, the photographers wanted to use the time to take some pics of me alone, so I had to get into my dress. My mom and I just went into one of the bedrooms and she helped me put it on. As she was zipping it up, it hit me and I said You just zipped up my wedding dress Mommy. And then she just started to cry and told me that I looked beautiful

I have so many and for all different reasons (touching, funny, sad, etc) -Seeing DH for the first time at the end of the aisle
On the way to church my mom and I using scotch tape to take black dog hair off my gown
My DH on stage singing with the band
Seeing family that I haven't seen in years
That my parents became friendly after not speaking to each in years
That grandma was able to be part of the whole day
Like someone else posted there's a million more

the funniest memory is when my niece and flower girl had the whole church cracking up. as the priest held up the eucharist before he broke it, he said, '.... body of Christ' and Emily said, really loudly, ' THAT'S A BIG BODY!'it was cute!

My flowergirl who is also my niece was 4 years old last year and when we were posing for a picture she turns to me and says 'you look like a princess'. I hugged and squeezed her so tight...then when I said 'no you are the princess' she was like 'no i'm the flowergirl'.....LOL

Looking into my DH eyes walking down the aisle, our first kiss, looking at him when we exchanged our vows, looking into his eyes while taking pictures, our first dance, cutting the cake. I can go on and on!

of course every memory was great... but one of the funniest had to be our two groomsmen dancing together. During our first dance, when the BP was asked to join us, we had an uneven BP, so two of the guys started dancing with each other... i think there was some butt grabbing in there too! LOL

Sitting on the floor of our hotel suite with DH at 4 in the morning opening cards, gifts, eating two HUGE pieces of our cake and nibbling all the food we could not sample at the wedding, laughing about the whole night. And when he carried me over the threshold. Also, when he had to get down on one knee because the band made him and profess his undying love to me in the song RESPECT!!!

Re: What is your greatest Memory from your wedding, that still pops into your head??
Right when I was getting ready to walk down the aisle, a bunch of people showed up late and were standing in the waiting area with my father and i. I hadnt' cried AT ALL up until that point yet and was very proud of myself because I'm a crier!Well, one of my husband's friends walked in, and he just looked at me with this 'wow' look in his eyes and I lost it! I started bawling right there underneath my veil.
That was the moment where it all hit me and it all became real to me (i'm going to cry again just thinking about it
) even though we'd already taken pictures!I teased him all day that he was the one who made me cry!!!

When we were about to be pronounced husband and wife, I started jumping up and down. I had no idea I was even doing that until I heard everyone laughing! This is probably DH's favorite memory!

Re: What is your greatest Memory from your wedding, that still pops into your head??
When I reached the altar, my dad gave me away and my husband turned to me and whispered, you look so beautiful.
Both my father's speech and our best mens' speeches had everybody bawling.
When Rob's best friend since they were five said, 'it is my turn to step down as his best friend now'...he had the entire room in tears.
Okay there are too many little memories...

Re: What is your greatest Memory from your wedding, that still pops into your head??
When my husband sang 'our' wedding song - 'Amazed' and dedicated it to his new wife!
Having my dad there to walk me up the aisle with my daughter & to dance with. There were a few times when he was in the hospital shortly before my wedding that I didn't know if he would make it to my wedding.
Having family of my husbands there from overseas to celebrate with us. One aunt he had never met & I thought that was wonderful that they traveled so far to be here.
