What kind of wedding album did you get...with Poll

I am curious to find out what kind of weddding albums everyone got or are in the process of getting.

I am really a fan of traditional but do love the flush mount as well. Anyway..I know you can be more creative with flush mount but sometimes I think flush mounts can be too busy for my liking. (JMO)But then again I want to be 'in with the times'.

So any input you have...I would love to listen!

we got what they called a reversible album, which is mostly traditional ... but we can have some of those 'flush mount' style pages.

Yes we may do this too! I saw an album like this and lovvved it! They had pages that were magazine style too and regular pages.

Ours is traditional. DH felt like if we wanted to make a magazine style one, we could design it ourselves later, but he liked the look of the traditional album for our official album....so that's what we got--I kind of agree about the business factor, although sometimes they are beautiful!

i think mine is a flush mount. it's actual pictures, but their digitized on the pages. they're also layed out in different ways, like we have cutouts and they're on angles. does that sound right? patken had their own name for it.

Both albusm (wedding and day after) are being done in flush mount. Flush mount just to clarify DOES NOT mean that it' not traditional. You could make a traditional look (1 or 2 pages per page) in the layout. Its just the way its hinged-literally mounted to lay flush and its digital rather than a picture.

MAGAZIEN layouts are the actual style. they can be busy or more moderate. I fall in the middle.

Ok thanks girls! I am glad to see a few did traditional. I can never make my own decisions so I just like to get input from others.

I'm getting an album that is digitally layed out on the computer (flush mount style). My cover will be a thick plastic/glass picture of us. I'm also getting a mini album-pocket book size! We got our parents the traditional. I love both types, but we were able to include many pictures in the digital album.

This is true. I didn't want every page looking too busy, so I have a lot of pages with just one picture (kind of like a double page spread) You can check it out in my album

My understanding of albums stops once you get past flush mount vs. actual matted photos. I made mine with Picaboo. You can see it HERE.

We got a traditional album. At some point, I'll do a DIY magazine style, but the thing that really made our decision was that you can't as easily do a traditional album after the fact.

Ooohhhh I LOVE metallic pages! Actually if I go traditional I do have the option to print on metallic paper too. When will your album be done? I think I need to see more flushmount before I decide.

Yes..I saw yours! Its very pretty! I also have seen some where there is a white or black background and only one or two pics on each page. Thx for reminding me of that! Ok I need to keep thinking about this! Thx everyone for your help so far!

We did a coffee table style album with lots of metalic images and airbrush designs. Our cover is a matte plastic thick one with our picture on the front.
