What made you pick the month that you got married in?
we didn't want a summer wedding since you could have snow and my parents would be coming in from florida with my grandmother. we like the colors for late summer/early fall. and sep has nice weather

I origonaly wanted May, but I was just finishing up my masters, and the only way it would have worked was if we chose the day of my graduation (or the day after). DH didn't want June, July, or Aug, because he said it would be too hot and didn't want to be in a tux in 90 degree weather and then September was out because it was such a busy month for the both of us. So we decided on October. Since we met on Oct 14th, we decided to go with that date since it was a Saturday.

We picked June b/c it's the best month!

We picked it b/c I graduated from Medical school in April and that would give me enough time to relax and plan all the last minute details before the big day. :)
Also, our dating Anniversary is June 24th and we wanted to keep it all in the same month.
My parent's wedding anniversary is also June 16th.

basically, because i teach and really wanted to take a week before to calm down and then go on thehoneymoon right away aftterwards. then relax some more before school started! DH just wanted to take some time off in the summer i think,LOL.

we picked February for a couple of reasons. Firstly b/c it was 6 months after our engagement, and neither one of us wanted a long engagement. We also had grandparents who got married in that month, and we both wanted a winter wedding b/c we are both hot blooded and could not stand the thought of putting on a tux or a big heavy dress in a hot time of year.
We also wanted a cold month so that we could go away somewhere warm and exotic on every anniversary

I just LOVE the month of may(well not anymore since it rained on my wedding day) lol but it just seemed to me that may was always beautiful and not hot. it was the perfect weather time i thought

june 16th was my wedding!!!! my husband s bday was the day before. june is a beautiful month with weather usually. and i got married at flowerfield also ev!!!

We are both teachers and we did it the Friday of February break so we could go on our honeymoon over February break and not have to miss too many days of work!!!

I am a teacher and wanted a summer wedding. This way it gave me some time to get things together when i was done with work, and come back from the honeymoon and still be on vacation.

I'd always envisioned having a summer wedding (hot sunny day) so I wanted that. And I wanted to have it in the middle of my vacation time (summer as a teacher) so I'd have a few weeks before to get ready and a few weeks after to relax.

We wanted an October Wedding b/c that is when we met. But the month of October was just alittle more Pricey, than the other months.
April 29 is our date. It works out Good b/c the 29th is the day we starting dating (but in October) so at least we got to keep the same day # 29

My sister picked our dated. She got married September 1, 2001, so she picked September 3rd 2006 for us.

I wanted a spring or fall wedding so bad, weather wise.
BUT, we wre on such a budget, so we went on the off months and picked February. We saved sooo mcuh money this way. It also worked out because we got to go on our honeymoon during my vacation in February (I am a teacher and we always have president's week off)>

We wanted May.. but ended up with the last weekend in April bc it was $15.00 a head cheaper to have a night wedding that way.. I really didn't want to get married during the day..
