What magazines do you read now?

What magazines do you read now?

I've been travelling this week and found it hard to find good magazines in the airport.

No more bridal mags...

All the Cosmos, etc are all about snagging a man - got one

And all the others are Mother's or Family mags.

I get Entertainment Weekly and Real Simple, but there's nothing else in between.

I say we start a newlywed magazine!!

I like Marie Claire. And, I read HR Magazine.

But, I would like another 'fun' one. It just doesn't seem like any other magazines 'apply' anymore. So, I mostly read books now.

We SHOULD start a newlywed magazine!

It is a shopping magazine. I like to look at the current trends. Plus, DH works for the publisher so I get it free.

that's funny b/c i passed the knot in the store today and i thought ohhh, those were the days. but either way, i get lucky (looove lucky) real simple (loooove this one, too) and better homes and gardens. that is ending so i need something new too, but i also get allure. i like the makeup mags and home decorating ones too.

I got four - FOUR - magazine subscriptions as gifts for Christmas last year. This is in addition to the three I already had! I get:

Outside
Cooking Light
The Scientist
Cook's Illustrated
Rolling Stone
Lucky
Living

Good thing I like to read!!

I love Cooking Light. My nephew was selling mags for school, so I also subscribed to Health and Better Homes and Gardens.

What about Newsweek and Time or Readers Digest?

Good Housekeeping, Family Circle and Women's World aren't necessarily all about parenting or families...There are plenty of subjects covered in their articles.

I LOVE Good Housekeeping... I think it's the title that scares people away... but it's really a great magazine... perfect for newlyweds!

I also read Conde Nast Traveller.

I still like Allure because it's not about snagging a man. And Good Housekeeping and Ladies Home Journal are actually decent magazines (seems like they're for old ladies, but they're really not! I used to work for Family Circle, and that's a pretty good one too.)

But god, do I miss the bridal mags! I LOVED them, don't know why.
