What reminds you how much you love being married?

I woke up this morning and looked at Len sleeping. Then the thought came to me that I am now looking at my HUSBAND sleeping. I just LOVE that feeling.
I waited so long to have my hubby and now I have him, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

Oh my, so many things!!!

Laying in bed watching TV at night & cuddling, seing him walk through the door everyday after a long, hard day at work, with his arms open for a hug from me.

Knowing someone is always here for me no matter what.
Knowing I could look awful, no makeup, hair up or whatever and he still tells me I look beautiful (yea right, but he does!)

When he helps my mom or dad do things to their house, repairs etc.

I think I could type all day on this subject.

The way his ring looks on his finger. I couldn't imagine Gary with a ring on since he never wears jewelry and since he is a plumber he doesn't wear it to work but when he wears his ring on the weekends, I just love it! Sap I am!

having someone next to you in bed everynight
and someone always checking in on the phone then telling you that they love you all the time

This is something silly, but every time we get back from a long day out, whether it's a wedding or BBQ or anything, we roll into the driveway and we're both SOOOO GLADDDDD to be *home sweet home*. There's no feeling in the world like that!

Anna, that's exactly how we felt to be home from our vacation.
We were both so happy to sleep in our own bed.
There's no place like HOME, and my home is wherever Patrick is.

He leaves for work at 4 a.m. and I am still sleeping, but he always kisses me goodbye and says Have a good day, I love you. On the mornings when Im not out cold and cant remember, it makes my day!

When he calls me pet names, that only we understand...

When he kisses me for no apparant reason - just a little peck is all I need...

That no matter what we argue about, we make up...

That I find him to be the cutest thing...

That no matter what goes wrong in my life, I have a wonderful man who loves me for who I am....

When he introduces me as 'This is my wife'

When he says honey I left the fellows b/c I told them I can't have my wife waiting

When he gives me the truck and take public transport

When he spoons me in bed

When they say can i speak to the lady of the house

Why people go, where is your husband when they call on the phone

When we are playing cards in bed

When we are just sitting quiet doing nothing but being in each other's presence

When he kisses my shoulder

Just being with him! I saw him yesterday and we had a wonderful day/night together. We're not living together yet, so it's the times we DO get to see each other that makes me remember what a great man I married, and how this time of being apart is going to be SO worth it, because he is SO worth it.

Seeing the ring on his finger, and knowing what it stands for--how much he loves me, and his commitment to me.

Walking around in stores or wherever holding his hand, feeling SO proud to be his wife.

Actually looking forward to the days when I can make dinner or help him with his uniform laundry, or basically just share our lives together. I never thought I'd look forward to stuff like that. You've gotta see how many cookbooks I bought over the past year!!! lol!!

When either one of us comes home from work we kiss each other and give a big bear hug! Sometimes I just on him and he spins me while hugging me--sign of a happily married couple!
