I have somewhere to go tomorrow and I have some beer bread mix at home (by tastefully simple, if anyone is familiar with them). what can i get or make to bring with the beer bread? If i cut the bread up until little pieces, is it weird to dip that into some sort of dip? I think this is what the host did at the tastefully simple party I went to, but for soem reason it sounds weird to me to dip bread into a spinach dip ... ?? is it just me?
and if it IS ok to bring a dip and the bread, can i buy good pre-made dips? I have no time to make a dip. i don't want just a cold spinach dip really - something with cheese and yummy stuff inside ... not just sour cream, you know?
tia for any suggestions ladies. i am drawing a blank on this one ...

It's a bread made by this co tastefully simple - it;s sold only at parties, sorta like pampered chef but they sell the FOOD not the dishes and cookware all of their foods are packaged and you only need to add one or two ingredients. They are yummy and not bad for you like other packaged foods would be. Well, not AS bad
The beer bread is a packaged mix and you just add beer to it! You can add soda or another carbonated bev too.

Beer Bread is a dry mix from Tastefully Simple that you add a can of beer to.
It is really good.
You can try a dill dip. We use it with pumpernickle bread. It is mayo sour cream and dill.
Did you get any dips from Tastefully Simple? They are yummy!

that's so funny you asked this b/c I'm actually making beer bread and a spinach dip from tastefully simple tomorrow night. i don't know if you have any of their mixes,but i think a melted cheese or creamy dip would be good!

Seriously, if you don't want to do a dip, then you could also do an array of sliced cheeses and maybe some dried sausage, prosciutto, capicola. Vegetable spreads like olive, eggplant or roasted peppers would be good too. Check out Trader Joe's or any supermarket for that.
