What to Wear to a 5pm Weddings on Saturdays?

What to Wear to a 5pm Weddings on Saturdays?

And I've asked both brides and they told me cocktail dresses--actually one said whatever you feel like

DH is easy--a suit.

I was thinking of wearing a red strapless dress to one of them--its at The Roosevelt Hotel in NYC. Here's a picture of the dress--the color is a much darker red. Think its okay? I'm just remembering some rule I heard that its better to under dress than over dress, but don't wear your jeans and sneakers to a wedding. But is there some sort of rule as to what one should wear after 5 pm?

I would think that would be fine. Maybe dress it up a little with accesories or a shawl....but I would wear something along those lines.

I like it, .....hmmmm...better to under dress, I never knew this

Maybe that is why a few people were not as dressy for my wedding.
